Our approach is different. At Erskine, we have smaller classes. We believe smaller class size creates a better educational environment and results in a friendlier campus. This emphasis on individual growth and relationships is part of what we call a “connected” education. Our student-faculty ratio of 12:1 makes for a very individualized learning experience.

Erskine’s liberal arts education equips students in all majors with the core experiences from all disciplines, and creates the foundation for lifelong learning. Erskine was founded in 1839 by the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, making us one of the oldest private liberal arts colleges in the Southeast.
