Unity College is an environmentally focused, liberal arts college. According the United States Department of Education, Unity College offers more environmental majors than any other college in the country. Unity College has a special kind of energy. Students become part of a community that shares their love of nature and fosters an education dedicated to the environment. Our academic programs include experiential, field experiences that provide an opportunity to learn and explore in the diverse ecosystems of Maine and beyond.

Located in Unity, Maine, Unity College exists for the student whose love of the outdoors is reflected in their education and career choices. An education at Unity can be the first step to a position with a state park, wildlife refuge, nature education center or a wilderness recreation organization. Unity College offers Bachelor of Science degrees in the following areas of study:  Adventure Therapy, Biology, Captive Wildlife Care and Education, Conservation Law Enforcement, Earth and Environmental Science, Environmental Policy and Law, Experiential Education, Marine Biology, Parks and Land Resources, Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Energy, Teaching and Learning, and Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation. Students may pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Writing or Art and Environments. The school also offers associate’s degree programs leading to Associate of Science in Environmental Science and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies.
